Some wonder how Israel, given its small relative population, could be a threat to world peace. They should stop wondering.

The only way to achieve peace is through justice and equity. Over and over again, this nuclear-equipped, heavily U.S.- subsidized nation has sought to displace its native Arab population, creating a refugee problem which has put a tremendous strain on neighboring states. Since 1967, Israel has illegally occupied areas of the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip, lands traditionally belonging to the Palestinian people. Indeed, expansion has always been the goal of the state of Israel, always at the expense of the Arab population.
In a pre-1967 statement made by Menachem Begin, "I deeply believe in launching preventive war against the Arab states without further hesitation. By doing so, we will achieve two targets: firstly, the annihilation of Arab power; and secondly, the expansion of our territory."
This remains the thrust of official Israeli policy, as Israel continues to promote the settlement, by its own citizens, of these illegally occupied lands.
Sounds like a threat to peace to me.
